"Speak your mind" - Publishing Workshop

Day 1: What’s on my mind?
- Morning 9 am -1 pm Introduction in a group and individually
- After lunch –
- Setting up editorial teams
- Choice of subjects
Day 2: Is anyone out there interested in my thoughts and ideas? And do I want to share them?
- Intended reader / audience
- Selecting places and people for interviews, information, to be photographed
- Gathering of material
Day 3: How can I tell you my story? Communication as a dialogue with a reader
Once we understood What do we want to say (Day1) & Whom do we wish to share our thoughts with (Day2), it is time to choose the most effective way to have a conversation.

Day 4: Do you believe that someone will get excited, astonished, moved to tears, intrigued, be charmed, fall in love, laugh, learn new things, expand horizons of thinking by taking in your story?

Day 5: A Generic Publication (to be assessed by a group and a tutor)
- Have I understood myself better by doing this? Did I become more knowledgeable about myself, the world around me, other people, ideas, emotions?
- Is there any point to expressing myself?
- What are the barriers, that keep people apart, restricting appreciation of each other?
- Was it the right way to say what I had on my mind? (technology, medium, nature of language, design, imaginary, ability to follow with updates)
- Mobile Electronic communication (PDA, Mobile Phones, Laptops, Blackberry, Plastic Logic tablet
- Internet inside a private home: blogs, web sites, YouTube, even Twitter
- Printed text on paper (books, magazines, newspapers)
- Radio
- Outdoor event & a family day out & carnival

- Mass gathering including large screens (Orange Revolution, Rock concert)
